Angie has been known, repeatedly, to sew dresses back together, cut labels, tidy rooms, get brides and bridesmaids into dresses, travel in the car to keep brides calm, and apply make-up (oh yeah, she’s a trained beautician, too). I’m sure there’s so many more things, but you get the idea. She’s someone you didn’t know you needed until she’s there making everything ok. Oh, and she’s f*****g hilarious. Trust me. She’ll have you laughing, particularly when we whisk you off for a few couple shots.

And. Now. Me (Matt). I’m the quiet, calm, focused-on-the-job type of person that takes 6 months of getting to know before the “real me” comes out. Either that or a few drinks… I’m the person on the wedding day who is never flustered, always in the know and organised for every situation. It’s true that they say opposites attract! I’ve been known to rapidly sort 8 pocket squares at the last minute for the groomsmen, and attach hundreds of buttonholes! Basically, I want your day to go without an issue so I’m always checking in with venue and wedding party to make sure we’re all on the same page. A bit obsessive? Yes, but needed? I think so!

Writing paragraphs about yourself is always awkward, isn’t it? So many questions go through your head… do I show how weird I really am? How dark is my humour really? Should I just put it all out there and hope for the best? Here goes:

Obviously, there’s two of us, so I’ll start with Angie. Angie has been the photographer extraordinaire of this duo for the past 2 years, but she’s so much more than that. I’ll admit, I get slightly jealous by all the “thank you soooo much” and “honestly I don’t know what I would’ve done without you, Angie” comments as we say our goodbyes. But in truth, it’s because she’s always ready to help in any situation.
